Quadrotor drones have rapidly gained interest recently. Numerous studies are underway for the commercial use of autonomous drones, and distribution businesses especially taking serious reviews on drone-delivery services. However, there still many concerns about urban drone operations. The risk failures accidents makes it difficult to provide drone-based services in real world with ease. There been that introduced supplementary methods handle emergencies. we discovered limitation existing methods. Most approaches were improving PID-based control algorithms, which is dominant drone-control method. This type low-level approach lacks situation awareness ability unexpected situations. study introduces an event-based methodology takes a high-level diagnosing can implement via time-window. While controllers left operate most time normal situations, our controller operates at higher level detects behaviors abnormal situations drone. We tested method real-time 3D computer simulation environments several cases, was able detect emergencies typical PID not handle. verify enhanced double safety better ensure safe hope discovery possibly contribute advance real-world near future.
